My day off...yeah right!

Monday, September 10, 2007

Contrary to popular belief, I actually try to take a day off every once in a while. So this weekend my fiance' and I went to a wedding...as guests. Daron (from the R&B group 112) and Azure had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Midtown Atlanta. I promise you I tried to leave my camera at home, but just as the beautiful bride was ready to walk down the isle, I got the urge to start snapping.

I only had one lens...what was I to do???!! My 50mm Canon lens came through for me. Although I was almost 20 ft away for some shots, I was still able to capture a few candids. By the end of the evening some folks danced right out of their shoes! Check out some of the pictures below!

Congratulations Daron and Azure!!!

The bride was beautiful! I love the shots you captured--especially the car. They should have hired you.

Awe inspiring photos. The pix of the proposal with the couple at the Ritz Carlton on another webpage made me believe in agape love again!!! What God has joined together . . . Anyway, when God sends me my perfect mate (he might not be perfect, but he'll be perfect for me); hopefully I'll be able to experience the Knight experience. lol

It is now 5:20am and I am here in Miami checking out your site. I too came across your work from the engagement your captured at the Ritz Carlton. WOW!!!!
Ross, I can truly see that the Lord had BLESSED you with a special gift. It is also encouraging to see how you are using that gift to further His kingdom. Seeing your work has inspired me to actually take some photography classes (in which I am an lady with the camera wherever I go too).
Well, keep up the fantastic work and I will be sure to call you as soon as I have a special event that I would be blessed for you to capture.
May the Lord continue to Bless you richly as you keep Him first in your life. :)
