What time is it? 1:55 AM on the East Coast. No, really...think again, what time is it in your life? We're all approaching the 4th Quarter - the last 3 months of the year. What have you yet to accomplish this year? Its really not too late to start. Remember those New Year's resolutions? Where did you lose that list?

I was struggling with the daunting task of updating my calendar when I started thinking about time and my many (and mini) lists. Ask any friend of mine and you will learn that I keep lists everywhere - the car, my camera bag, the fridge, my pocket, the bathroom, my nightstand, the closet, my head, my hand. I have even been known to keep lists at other people's houses. And then give the same people lists for themselves. I must do better.

So I stopped pondering over my lists to answer a few emails and that is when I discovered my inspiration for the rest of the year. A few weeks ago, my friend Lavada turned me on to Joel and Victoria Osteen. I have seen both speak in person but I recently signed up to start receiving their daily Inspiration in Your Inbox. Friday's message was great! It spoke directly to my situation. I went immediately from contemplation to action. A copy of the message is below.

Your Time is Coming

Today's Scripture

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time…though it tarry, wait for it” (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

Your time is coming! The dreams and desires, the things you want to accomplish, the situations you want to see changed will happen. Just because it has taken a long time, or because you’ve tried and failed, don’t give up on those dreams. Don’t be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. I encourage you today — get your fire back! It may be taking a long time, but God is a faithful God. No matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible it looks, if you’ll stay in faith, your time is coming. Every dream that’s in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God not only put it there, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass. Start declaring today, “My time is coming… God is working behind the scenes on my behalf… I will fulfill my destiny… I will fulfill the plan God has for my life!” As you declare and expect and wait for the appointed time, your faith will grow. Your hope will grow. And you’ll step into the destiny God has in store for you!

I receive the daily inspirations from Joel Osteen as well. I felt as it was right on time for me as well. I have read it and re-read it several times just to get it buried deep in my spirit. It's time. Thanks for posting it.

Hi Ross,
I read your blog all the time because I know you will have something inspirational to say. I was dealing with an issue last night, something that I have been praying for for a while and your post really helped me put things in perspective. Thanks for doing what you do.

Hey Ross,

I read and printed this out the other day then signed up for the newsletter. Just to show you how God confirms things, the message at my church today was entitled, "It's my time." We truly serve an incredible Savior that will make things crystal clear when we are unsure. Thanks for being His instrument, once again.

Hello Mr. Knight,

If I could speak every language I would tell you thank you. You just don't how much of a blessing you have been for me on today. I got to your page because my co-worker sent me an email about a couple you took pictures for, "Remember the Ritz" I believe it was called. Any way, I went on to your home page, looked at your pictures, every last one of them, and I ended up on your blog page. I scrolled through it the first time just to see the pictures, but for some reason I went back through and read each one until I got to this one. I don't know what it was, but as soon as I started reading, tears of happiness and joy start streaming down. I had to leave out my office to get my self together, and now I typing this blog, I can't stop crying. Because reading that passage is giving me the endurance to keep on trucking through hard times and good times. These past few months, I have been hating to come to work, ready to move, get another job, and so on. But after reading the passage, I know God is working with me diligently, he's molding and shaping me the way he wants me to be. I know my time is coming, but in God's time. I have learned and learning how to let God have is way. I mean it touch me so, I feel like shouting up in this office, but me and God are having a good time right now and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know this is very long, but I had to let you know what a blessing you have been for me today.

Thank you,

Martina

In AWE!!!...This was a sure sign of the promises of God., Ironically I just watched this same sermon (Joel Olsteen)on this past Sunday and even now as I cry., I am ever amazed of how God will get to you and work through you, and mostly really speak to YOU!!!.;even in non-traditional ways. My pastor was just teaching on listening and paying attention when God speaks. Oh! how sweet it is! when the connection of spirit meets the willingness of the mind!

Sherry

Keep up the good work

Ross-

You have truly blessed me tonight!

I recv'd this email from a client of mines and opened it up to be blessed by your wonderful work(Robert& Keisha engagement).

I am separeted now but asking God to restore my marriage. When I read your Word from Joel & Victoria, it blew me away. I will continue to stay encouraged. I will share with you when the day of restoration comes. Who knows you can shoot our first and only ever wedding pictures, since we got married by the JP.

Continue the wonderful works! God has truly given you great talents to do so... Keep him 1st in your life! Take Care!

I am thanking you all the way from London, England. Your profile has truly blessed me, especially the Habakkuk 2:3 message. God has recently given me a vision, which I wrote in my journal and attached this scripture to it. At prayer meeting today the message was about firing up those dreams and visions that have gone cold. Your pictures are amazing, I am adding you to my favourites, so I remeber you when I get married.
