Eric & Nadja - Barbados Wedding - Part 4

Tuesday, October 9, 2007

When it gets dark in Barbados, it gets really dark. I snuck away from the reception to shoot a timed exposure of the tent and villa. After running into two palm trees and twisting my ankle I almost fell into the pool! As if that wasn't enough, I returned to the party and enticed the couple to follow me back out into the darkness for the final shot (the last image in this post).

Too much fun for one day...I don't think so. Eric and Nadja, thanks for allowing me to share my passion and my gift with you.

Enjoy!

My family and I just touched down in NYC this evening...it began to rain but we're riding high. I was shocked when I logged on and saw how beautiful my ceremony was to the eye of the beholder. It felt like it went by so fast, but to see it like this makes it a truly remarkable moment in time. Thanks, brother.

Ross, your work is breath taking. How did you shoot the picture of the couple in front of the pool? That's awesome!!!! Better yet, how did you come up with that idea?

An admirer of your work,

V

Well Ross, You never fail to inspire me!, this time was no exception, Great work!...the groom looks a little like The Hon. Ray Nagin, Mayor of New Orleans...

Ross, you are the man. Verne and I are in awe of your work. It was a pleasure meeting the man behind the infamous "Proposal". You captured the beauty of the love that Nadja and Eric share.

No words to express this type of beauty...

I love the butterflies on her dress. Was that a custom made dress? Had to be. Congratulations to the couple!

My bride's dress was in fact custom made. And yes, it would seem since Katrina there's a man named Ray Nagin running around N.O. with my face or something very close to it. People sometimes stop me and ask why I haven't done more since the levees broke and then they laugh, but I don't. Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone.

All of the pictures were beautiful, but my favorite one is the last one. It seems as if it is reversed. Does that make any sense? It becaue the pool is light and the sky is dark... hope you understand what I'm trying to say.
