After watching the show, I thought a bit more about the subject. If I Had Just One More Day. This past week my company finished work on several memorial DVDs for clients. After viewing the finished products I was overwhelmed with feelings of joy and sorrow.
I am constantly reminded by the pictures displayed in my home of who I would want to spend one more day with. My great-grandfather. I did a post about him (click here) a few months ago. He was and still is a great source of my inspiration as a man, businessman, and leader. If I had one more day with him, I would ask him about his tenacity in business, his devotion to faith, his commitment to family, his ability to command respect, his service to the community, his wisdom in decision-making, his involvement in politics, his financial outlook, his fears and insecurities. I will never forget the sacrifices my family has made so that I can be where I am today.
This holiday season and always think about the individuals who are still here now that you can show love and appreciation to. Gifts are great but sometimes just giving someone 15 minutes of your time can be divine.

Great Post Mr. Knight and I just love your work!
I've read Mitch Albom's book and found it to be wonderful, comforting and insightful. I'm very much so looking forward to the movie on Sunday. We lost our sister to cancer two years ago on December 2nd. She is definitely the person I would love to just have one more day with. I'm also still grateful for my loved ones that are still here and we all treasure her memory.
