Youth vs. Wisdom?

the KNIGHT nephews - Ready for the Cameras?

So I've been thinking that I am determined to get cameras in these fellas hands in the next year or so. I'm waiting on that "throw everything in my hands as far as it will go" phase to be over. On second thought maybe we will have to wait another 2 - 3 years.

I was in Florida last week and no trip would be complete unless I got to see the young ones. They always remind me about how precious life is and how innocent kids can be.

I also got a chance to visit with my grandparents. They are two of the funniest people I know in the entire world. I believe that my grandmother could have been a stand up comedian! I really appreciate how candid they have both been with me as I have grown older. My grandmother is the one who entrusted me to so much family history a few years back when I took all her pictures to make copies.

As I talked with both of them, then thought about my young nephews, I had an interesting question pop up.

Would I rather have Youth or Wisdom? If I could only pick one...

How about you?

By the way, I know what Solomon is all about! But I thought I would ask anyway.

Interesting b/c I was thinking about this recently myself looking in the mirror. I would love to be younger an relive some of those years. But what I know now beat youth any day. 1 vote for wisdom!

Ditto on wisdom. Youth fades if you live long enough but wisdom can last forever!

as the saying goes "if I knew then what I know now"...i would definately choose wisdom! great question.

My husband and I are SO happy to be done with what we termed our "young and dumb" days! I would have to say that wisdom wins hands down!

I don't necessarily want my youth back, but how about my size? Can I get that at least??

"Youth shouldn't be wasted on the young." At least that's what my grandmother would say. I'd pick wisdom. What's the use of being young again, only to make the same mistakes? Oh how I would love to be wise...perhaps that's what my father was thinking when he named me Prudence ;)

I'd choose wisdom! God has taken you from youth to an adult so you can use wisdom from that path to guide you the rest of the way!
God Bless!

First, I LOVE the way you LOVE ur last name. So much so that you define things, people, and experiences by it. It's also a great marketing tool :)

Ur question - Wisdom, no doubt!

I want to first say that I am sorry for not reading the entire blog but I would like to comment on the part that I did read. I have personal experience with children and digital cameras. It is awesome. The sooner the better. I have a theory.....If you teach them how to use it )and instill in them the love)they won't break it.

I would much have wisdom for you are only as old as you feel and without wisdom you would be incapable of making that discovery.
