Game Time With A. Carter 99

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

What do you do when there is a 6-4, 253 pound, defensive end staring at you on a football field? Run!!!

Unless of course he invited you to the field for a photo shoot.

While in Virginia I shot out at Redskins Park. Most of you will remember Andre Carter from earlier this year when I photographed his family. For this shoot Andre wanted to get some pre-game photos. He has a bunch of action shots from his 8 seasons in the NFL but for this shoot we wanted to capture some of the moments that few get to see.

Here's some images from the shoot.

Dude, good stuff. Being a HUGE football fan and high school football coach, I have a great appreciation for this game. The images ROCK, of course....! Good stuff, brother! Very strong and powerful images. Extremely different and very creative....being that the pro football career is fairly short, I bet you'll get more inquiries about these types of shoots. Rock on, bruh...the F stops here!

Fantastic work. I love them all. Ecspecially the one of his helmet sitting on the field. The way you captured Carter and sky from the reflection, was awesome.

I'm sitting in school scrolling through the website and I have to give you Kudos again for your new website R.K.!! Your hard work and dedication def shows:). With respect to these pics, I would have to say that my fave is the one with Bethany. The pic is so symbolic--like Bethany is his pillar of strength.

What time of day did you shoot these? I'm still struggling with lighting. When are the advance workshops coming??? I'm in need of it.
