Double Trouble and a Heartfelt Thank You

Wednesday, January 28, 2009

Thanks so much to everyone for your thoughtfulness. I received over 100 comments, phone calls, emails and/or texts about my grandmother. Its amazing to know how many of you care so deeply about my well-being. As I sat through the funeral yesterday, I thought about all of you and how God has blessed me with a wonderful extended global family.

To lighten the mood, I was able to spend time with both of my nephews for a day. They bring me such joy and continue to grow more and more every time I see them. I call them double trouble when they are together because they kick, scream, jump, laugh, cry, and shout non-stop! I used to cut my little brother's hair growing up so we kept the tradition going and I cut his son's (left) hair for the first time. Their hair grows identically so it was like going back in time when my brother was begging me to trim his curls.

I didn't bring my camera to Florida so I had to use my iPhone to capture these adorable shots.

They are so adorable! I'm glad you had these two to brighten your day. Nothing like connecting with family and/or good friends to help you through a rough time. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

What a blessing and a balm to your spirit those precious, little men are!! They were probably out of that chair and running right after you took that picture! LOL!

Your nephews are too cute. The one on the left reminds me of some 80s singer... maybe Tevin Campbell and the one on the right, looks like a little preacher man...I remember him doing some James Brown rendition in one of your previous posts. Bag them and sell the formula. They are adorable!
