Faisal + Durreshahwar | Atlanta, GA

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Last month I photographed the 4-day Pakistani wedding of Faisal and Durre. Talk about stamina! My new workout and diet have really helped to keep me energized during the start of this wedding season. One important aspect of my business is that I pride myself on being a very diverse and culturally aware photographer. This was my second Pakistani wedding (1st wedding here) in four months and I look forward to photographing many more. The experience of the first wedding as well as my research from last year helped me to be in all the right places at the right time.

Durre looked stunning and Faisal was certainly official! The food and dancing were incredible. I'm still excited because Durre's uncle has promised me a traditional set of clothes soon so I can wear them to my next wedding.

Here's a few pictures from the wedding below.

The photos are absolutely beautiful. When God blesses me to be married, you will have to take my pictures. What I love about your work is that with each picture you take, it looks like a story that could be told. That is what pictures are supposed to do, capture you and your imagination.

Pretty. I really like the one with the selective focus on her hands and her head turned to the side.
