I met Karen through the Triple Pink Foundation, Inc. One of the foundation's aims is to educate the public about Triple Negative Breast Cancer. A survivor herself, Karen has worked tirelessly to help women take responsibility for their health. Gil was at one of the foundation events this year and I had time to get to know him and discuss his future plans with Karen. When the couple asked me to shoot their wedding I was elated!!

The site of the wedding was the St. Regis Hotel which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot at in Atlanta. Light pours into the rooms and there are incredible compositions at every turn. Karen and Gil added special touches to make the day unique. For one, they had a New Orleans style band to lead the bridal party to the reception!
