Major Bummer - iPhone Laid to Rest

Friday, November 7, 2008

Good news, bad news, and then more good news.

I'll start with the bad. I thought my iPhone was stolen on Wednesday during the Coldplay concert. Turns out the phone fell through the seat and to the bottom of the Phillips Arena floor. About 100 feet. A worker found the phone and returned it yesterday. Here's what it looked like when I met the worker to pick it up:

On to the good news. The concert was awesome! I was in a state of euphoria the entire time. I think I only sat down once. When my phone was returned I was able to recover only one picture. This image takes my mind back to the best concert of my life.

The other good news is that I got a new iPhone yesterday. 3 G! When I was at a shoot yesterday the internet was fast enough for me to pull my blog up during a break to show attendees some of my recent entries.

Oh yeah - I'm wearing my Coldplay shirt today...

I got sweet Coldplay memories.

While I had custody of my grandson -- while my daughter went overseas on the USS Roosevelt and my [not yet] son-in-love was at school learning diving -- the only music that would soothe Dillon was Coldplay. As a toddler, we would sing "Yellow" on the way home from the babysitter. "Spies" is my favorite from that same CD.

I LOVE COLDPLAY. My daughter that is 4 LOVES Coldplay, she can tell you who the lead singer is, point him out and sometimes when she hears them she just say "It's Chris Martin!" anyhow a friend forwarded your blog to me and I am an aspiring photographer in Kansas. Let me know what you think. Your work is great and then I saw that you love Coldplay too! What more could you ask for?! Take care!Janelle
