The Blogger

I get to hear from so many of you on my blog through comments but unless you have a blogger account I am not able to visit your blog or see any pics. This past March Mrs. KNIGHT met one of my faithful bloggers Teka-Ann at a conference in California. She came to Atlanta this past week so we all met up for brunch and I got to meet some of her family. We were exhausted (and famished) from our morning shoot but after a glass of orange juice and a muffin we bounced back. Just check the pics below and see for yourself.

Great meeting you Teka-Ann and family. Remember to search for the right lighting, even to take a candid portrait! And next time the meal is on us.

Awwwwwwwwww. These pics are so hottt. Great hanging with you both - lovely couple. And mos def, Gyasi and I are getting into the lighting and its effects. LOL. For the rest of the day while we were taking random pics Gyasi was telling everyone about the importance of lighting. LOL.

And how could I forget to mention how COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL ur equipment was. OMG. Never seen lens that big. And seeing ur equipment made me realize the importance of the investment if you want superior products. Just look at those pics above, simple but full of quality. Teaches that having the talent, the eye, and the artistic ability will go places, but investments will let you soar. It's photography, it's ART, but its also business. Good lesson for upcoming photographers and applicable in all business arenas.

Pretend I'm singing....
It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world.

I know Gyasi from church and met Teka when they were engaged. I don't think she'd even know my name. Then as I'm following your blog...I realize that the Teka Ann S. Haynes that is commenting on your blog must be the same Teka Ann that is married to Gyasi that now lives on the other side of the USA that shares a passion for a craft and admiration of a photographer named Ross Oscar Knight.

It's a small world after all...
...and you're helping people to engage each other that wouldn't have done so otherwise...

Wow - it looks like you had a blast!! Have you ever had a photography session in NC? I read on an old blog of yours that you wanted suggestions of places to visit, well I put my vote in for Greensboro, NC! :~) Take pictures at February One (where the sit-ins took place) and the historic campus of A&T! Ooh, Aah! (smile)
