Brett + Gianna | Palmetto, GA

Sunday, May 4, 2008

Today was a busy day! We had a morning session, then brunch with friends, and finished with an afternoon session. The second session was with Brett and Gianna. I've known this adorable couple for just over two years now. Gianna just happens to be one of my album designers and I shot her best friends wedding last year (exactly one year ago today). I was pretty bummed when she asked me to shoot her own wedding in Martha's Vineyard this year and I was already booked. So to make it up to her, we did a fun and intimate engagement session south of Atlanta. Now Brett is one cool cat. He can act on any given command! I personally think he should be in acting or have his own late night show because he is hilarious. I arrived at the location about an hour before the couple to scope the lighting and a few areas for good composition. By the time of the shoot it was a count down before the sun started sinking below the trees. Check out a few of the images below!

Gianna, it was my pleasure shooting your engagement session. We had so much fun. I bet no one viewing the pictures can tell that we were all being eaten alive near those flowers!

Enjoy your wedding and see you when you get back.
